Since November 2021, we’ve been proud to work on the BBC’s Project Belmont, manufacturing and installing bespoke joinery fixtures across all floors of both New and Old Broadcasting House in London. This extensive project has allowed us to showcase our ability to deliver tailored solutions that blend functionality with design, elevating the office environment for one of the world’s most iconic organisations.
Bespoke Joinery Across Multiple Areas
From the outset, we collaborated closely with the BBC’s in-house design team to understand their vision for improving the common and circulation spaces within their offices. This partnership ensured every detail of the project was aligned with their expectations, resulting in joinery that enhances both aesthetics and practicality.
Key Elements of the Project
Seating Units We designed and installed custom seating units that provide comfort and style, seamlessly blending into the office environment while meeting the high standards of the Broadcasting House workspace. Locker Storage Portals Our locker storage fixtures were crafted with precision to offer secure and efficient solutions for employees, integrating functionality without compromising on design. Meeting Room Areas Meeting rooms were enhanced with bespoke joinery that supports collaboration and professionalism, creating spaces that are both welcoming and productive. Communal Tea Point Stations One of the standout features of the project has been the installation of tea point stations throughout the building. These communal spaces have been thoughtfully manufactured to promote interaction and offer convenient access to amenities.
Commitment to Continuous Improvements
Our involvement with the BBC doesn’t end here. The project continues into 2024, with additional tea point stations and locker joinery currently being fabricated for other office floors. This ongoing work reflects our dedication to delivering high-quality solutions that evolve with the needs of the workspace.
