During our working relationship with the BBC, their design team and projects, we have undertaken many and varied projects in the staff and public areas. Images shown above are of the Café bar at Level 7 and from within the main News Cafe in the B1 area of New Broadcasting House. The works comprised new floor, wall and ceiling finishes. A revision to the existing M&E installations including layout changes to the sprinkler system and alarm systems to suit the new layout were undertaken. Design was developed, designed and fabricated in conjunction with SKK Design, Shepherd Robson and the in-house operators. Counters, equipment and joinery items were all developed and produced by Macdonald.
